A great tool for cutting weeds such as rye grass, dock, kikuyu and flax with one quick stroke.

Ideal for weeding around new plantings and revegetation projects in paddocks and wetlands.

Keep out of reach of children. Sharpen with a medium & fine double sided Japanese diamond file.

Don't use as a tool for getting weeds between rocks or bricks or soil. This tool is not designed those tasks. This sickle is a cutting tool not a digging tool. Try the Niwashi traditional instead. 

Apply linseed or camelia oil to the handle and blade before using for the first time. Give the blade a tickle ie. light sharpen with a diamond file before use. When it cuts paper, vertically it's sharp enough!
