Salvia Waverly

An eye catching hybrid salvia with masses of purple calyces and white flowers flush with pale lavender.

Proven reliable cultivar that is tolerant of wet and heavy soils with long lasting flowers.

Flowers from October to April in Auckland. Tough, reliable fast growing plant with aromatic mint chocolate leaves. Flowers last one to two weeks, are of the furry salvia type and are ideal for dried flower arrangements. Very popular with bees the racemes tend toward the horizontal at 40-30 degrees. Leaves are ovate to elliptic, dark camo green to chocolate and slightly wrinkled. Stems are often dark green to deep purple. purple
