A compost and rich soil loving sapphire blue salvia that will feed bees and increase insect life in your garden by providing habitat and launching pads for predatory insects. Common name: English Bog Sage. Water regularly during summer but don't plant it in a bog!

Ideal for organic or permaculture gardens with good soil. Tall cobalt blue flower spikes brings in the moths late evening, the bees early morning and the butterflies when they have the warm air draughts to fly. 

Salvia Uliginosa grows 2m tall plus another 40cm for the flowers. including the vibrant sapphire blue flower spires. The bees will be very happy. Vigorous spreader. She sends out stolons and plenty of roots and can easily spread 40-60cm in each direction in one season. 

Back of the border drama and height, this salvia is a reliable choice for moist or rich organic soil that is regularly wet.  1.4L pot with established root system.
