Salvia Madrensis

Great for drama in floral arrangements.

Magnificent giant gold spires atop a lush lime verdant plant. Flowers are dense, tough and last two weeks bringing great verticality to a bouquet. 

This is my favorite salvia. So much drama, gaudy architecture and then in ground there are strong stolons building a castle. 

He loves full sun, exposure to wind up to 50kmph is not a problem, but wet or heavy soil will make him grumpy and slow to grow.

Spectacular in bouquets, but use sparingly lest the other flowers pale next to this gold god with 45cm flower spikes. Flowers are fluffy and last one to two weeks and dry well. Pair with achilleas. 

2L pot with established root system. Sells quickly when available.
