Ixia Mabel

(Syn. Ixia Venus)

A prolific spring flower and corm producer with bright pink flowers on long 75cm stems. Very popular with bees, flowering mid spring.  Looks great in cottage gardens, the vertical flower spires and long needle leaves wave in the wind adding drama and texture.

Ixia requires no fertilizing or maintenance and is often seen growing on road verges. I plant mine in between dahlias and salvias for spring color in Auckland. Nothing short of a nuclear bomb can kill Ixia.

1.5L pot with 8-10 mature corms plus plenty of babies. Will spread and form a large clump.
