‘Lotte’ is an elegant cultivar with thin green leaves and an upright, elongated flower spike. From midsummer to early autumn the 50cm flower spike , this holds numerous creamy-lime ivory flowers that have a conspicuous purple centre (pistil). Looks fantastic in bouquets with flowers lasting seven days.
An elegant mid summer flowering bulb that is very popular with bees. A hardy evergreen from South Africa with tropical lime foliage that is not frost tolerant but otherwise very easy to grow. Benefits from afternoon light shade and some shelter. Ideal for garden borders. Prefers free draining fertile soil that does not get waterlogged in winter. Fast grower.
