Dahlia: Kidd's Climax

Bred in Dargaville, New Zealand in 1947, this cultivar consistently wins trophy around the world even today. Excellent genetics. Flowers can be as large as 35cm if grown for competition with 3-5 stems per plant. Flowers are almost always over 25cm if left to grow naturally. Giant decorative with lilac and pink petals with white tips that morph to peach in the center. A very three dimensional flower with great depth and complexity. Only one is need per vase.
