Flowers mid winter June-July. 14 year old mature plants in 1.5L pots. They will be sent bare rooted for shipping. These plants really want to get into soil and will grow quickly when planted with a some Triabon fertilizer. Flower head size will increase once the plants have a couple of seasons growing in soil.
Ideal for semi and full shade areas under trees with filtered light. Dappled shade is the most suitable location for growing clivia outdoors. Clivia also tolerate poor, dry soils. Clivia can be planted 50cm apart and look their best in mass plantings. Clivia can also be grown in 10L pots as a house plant.
