Dr Keith Hammett Clivia from his 45 year breeding program
C. gardenii X C. miniata hybrid. Flowers mid winter July to August.
Ideal for semi and full shade areas under trees with filtered light. Dappled shade is the most suitable location for growing clivia outdoors. Clivia also tolerate poor, dry soils. Clivia can be planted 50cm apart and look their best in mass plantings. Clivia can also be grown in 10L pots as a house plant.
Once you order. Large mature plants will be dug from the field and sent bare rooted. They are very durable tough plants that are drought tolerant with established root systems being 10-15 years old each plant.
